Having been stuck in the traffic fiasco on Buxton Road for almost one hour at the bank holiday weekend, thus missing a very important appointment, I have a question. In other parts of the country where a council is daft enough to (or has no alternative but to) put five sets of traffic lights within 200 metres, someone usually uses synchronisation to help the flow. Why has nobody thought of this to solve the current farce? Nothing could make the situation any worse than it is now.
