CHANGES are being introduced to the way Dorset County Hospital runs its hearing aid clinics.
The service is changing from the current drop-in clinics at the Dorchester hospital and surrounding community hospitals to booked appointments only. It is hoped the change, which comes into effect on September 5, will mean people can attend at a set time rather than facing unpredictable queues while waiting for repairs and adjustments to their hearing aids.
The clinics will continue at the current locations at Dorset County Hospital, Weymouth Community Hosp-ital, Bridport Community Hospital and Blandford Community Hospital. To book an appointment from September call 01305 255563.
