A FIVE-YEAR-OLD girl was among seven people taken to hospital after a two-car crash near Wool.
Police, two fire engines and five ambulances were called to Tout Hill near Monkey World when a Silver MG Rover and a white Ford Mondeo collided at 2.45pm yesterday.
Firefighters removed one of the vehicle’s roofs as two people were trapped after the crash and all of the seven injured were taken to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester. A police spokesman said they did not suffer life threatening injuries.
He said a family of five from Hertfordshire were in the Rover when the crash happened while the Ford was being driven by a man from Wareham with his 16-year-old daughter as a passenger.
A fire service spokesman said crews from Bere Regis and Wareham cut the roof of the car off to free two of the occupants.
The police are appealing for anybody who saw the crash or the vehicles just prior to the crash to call PC Angus Wilson on 01305 222222.
