St John Ambulance is urging businesses in Dorset to ensure they have trained first aiders working over the summer holiday season or potentially face prosecution.
As part of the campaign it is targeting businesses with a with a Wish You Were Here-style postcard to remind them of their first aid obligations over the summer months.
The first aid organisation is offering to help businesses assess whether they are meeting statutory first aid requirements by completing a web survey at www.sja.org.uk/survey.
First aid courses can be delivered on site at businesses or in one of the organisation’s training centres, including in Weymouth and Dorchester. More details on 0844 324 5535.
