SWASHBUCKLING Dorset families are invited to don eye patches and walk the plank to celebrate the release of a Hollywood movie.
Pirate Adventure Golf at Lodmoor Country Park and Weymouth Sea Life Park are teaming up to find the best pirate family.
To coincide with the cinema release of Pirates of the Caribbean 4, the two attractions are holding a best dressed competition and treasure hunt over half term, from Sunday, May 28 to Sunday, June 5. The four best dressed people will win a year’s membership to Pirate Adventure Golf.
Richard Dilly, from Weymouth Sea Life Centre, said: “Beware though, we aren’t just looking for people who can dress the part, we want the real deal – pirate accents, sword wielding (no real swords, please) and grubby.”
People who go to the attraction dressed as a pirate will receive £1.50 off each ticket and will be entered into the contest to win a year’s free pass for four.
