WORLD class growers from Dorset have been celebrating wins at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
More than 50 exhibitors were awarded prestigious gold medals, among them a nursery from Wimborne.
Specialist nursery Knoll Gardens, at Hampreston, scooped its gold award in the floral marquee section.
Among the other winners from West Dorset is the Three Counties Nurseries at Marshwood, which scooped bronze in the floral marquee category.
Winning a merit in the tradestands category was Burgon and Ball of Hamworthy and taking home a bronze flora award in the floral marquee category was Coldharbour Nursery of Wareham.
Student Lauren Curry, of Burton, Christchurch, won a bronze grenfell award in the Young Florist of the Year category for her work at Bicton College in Devon.
The Daily Telegraph Garden was given the Best in Show Garden award while TV gardener Diarmuid Gavin achieved his first gold medal for his Irish Sky Garden.
