Is the continued absence of a ‘Welcome to Weymouth’ sign on the new road, another indication of West Dorset taking over Weymouth & Portland?
What has happened to the pineapples at the borough boundary, which were inaugurated by my late friend Doug Hollings?
I understood at the time that there were plans to move them to the new road at the proper time.
Since the road opened, there has been plenty of time to install a welcome sign, so can our combined bureaucracy get on with it please?
Or has the boundary been abolished in the reorganisation?
