The reigning Miss Dorset, Alice Hall from Weymouth, said that her year as the face of the county had been tremendous.
She said she had wonderful experiences throughout the year despite missing out on the top spot at the Miss England final.
The former All Saints schoolgirl, who went through to the contest after being crowned Miss Dorset last summer, said she had a fabulous time at the two-day competition in Birmingham.
The winner was Miss Nottingham, Jessica Linley, 21.
Weymouth College student Alice, 18, said: “Winning Miss Dorset was the most amazing thing that’s ever happened to me. I was so proud, so anything after that has been a bonus.”
