I READ with interest the review of The King and Thai by Lucy Pearce in today’s (Taste, April 25) Dorset Echo.
She and her companion obviously enjoyed their meal and the pictures and description showed what seemed a very good deal for the set price of £20.
What a shame she then spoilt the article by her last sentence praising an alternative venue! This may well be her opinion, but seems spiteful when reviewing a new business.
A short while ago I passed their stall where they were offering free tasters. I told them that unfortunately my husband and I don’t like curries or chillies, but they charmingly pointed out which dishes on the table would suit and they were delicious.
I wish them every success.
