I WAS invited back to the goat farm to see the baby goats, or kids as they are known, with my friends Grace and James Ford and Abigail Knight.

Grace and James very gently picked up a kid and passed it to me to hold. I expected it to be really wriggly, especially being held by a lion, but it was so sweet and just snuggled up to me.

I couldn’t resist having a cuddle with some other goats after that, and I would have loved to take them home, until my friends pointed out that they eat everything, including my boot!

Joke time:What do you call a crate of ducks?

A box of quackers!

What do you call an arctic cow?

An eskimoo!

How do you fit more pigs on your farm?

Build a sty-scraper!

What do you get if you cross a cow with a camel?

Lumpy milkshakes!
