MAY I please through your columns, thank most sincerely the local Rotary club for organising the most pleasant party for the members of Age Concern in Weymouth and Portland.
The party on Friday, May 6, was held at the Centenary Club and was well attended. Members of Rotary were there to help. And there was an abundance of nice food on the buffet tables.
The entertainment provided was very good and there was lots of dancing. The star of the TV series The Vicar of Dibley came along to enjoy the whole event. And it was the most successful function for all.
So our most sincere thanks are due to all concern for organising this most enjoyable day.
PETER PRICE St Helen’s Road, Weymouth
