POLICE want to trace a 37-year-old missing man from Beaminster who is believed to be in and around the woodland areas in Bridport.
Darryl Rendell, of Fleet Street, last made contact with his family on Sunday, May 15, when he sounded upset and since then no-one has heard from him.
Police Constable Craig Jeffery said: “I understand that Darryl was very upset when he last spoke with his family and that it’s extremely unusual for him not to make contact with them for this amount of time.
“He appears to have left his wallet at home and he has not made any transactions from his bank account – he has not taken his vehicle with him.
“Naturally, his family is very concerned.”
Darryl is white, clean shaven, of a slim build, around five feet eight inches tall, with brown eyes and short brown hair.
PC Jeffery continued: “If anyone has seen Darryl – or knows of his whereabouts – then please contact us urgently.
“It’s believed that Darryl may be in or around Bridport, perhaps in the Mountfield, Coneygar, Millennium Green or the surrounding wooded areas.
“I would urge him to call either his family or Dorset Police as soon as possible.
“We just want to check that he is safe and well.”
If you have any information contact the police on 01305 222222.
