IN last Friday’s ‘soapwash’ for the English Defence League by a Dorchester (Poundbury) resident, you state the EDL is not racist.
The EDL has an insulting four letter word chant about Allah, designed to give offence, humiliate and intimidate Muslims.
If Jesus Christ was substituted for Allah there would be public outrage.
In the county we unfortunately have problems with extremist groups. I can assure you from experience we have individuals in our locality who think themselves racially superior because of their white skins. We do not need vigilantes marching around our communities stirring up discord, to gain publicity for their cause and recruitment (especially vulnerable youth).
Respect our community’s diversity. Respect the Muslims living amongst us. Say no to discord and division amongst us.
