I note from an article in the Dorset Echo of Thursday, May 6 that Dorset County Council is now looking for another £6million more in savings.
May I suggest that instead of cutting public services like libraries and school crossing patrols, they remove the head of department responsible for the design and implementation of the Weymouth Transport Package.
This scheme has wasted millions of pounds of taxpayers’ money. How many other highly paid county council heads could contribute to the budget shortfall by their removal?
