A DRUG dealer found in possession of 120 cannabis plants has been warned by a judge that he faces a prison sentence.
Darren Roberts, aged 26, of Waddock near Dorchester, pleaded guilty to a charge of supplying cannabis and possessing the drug with intent to supply as well as a charge of cultivating cannabis when he appeared at Dorchester Crown Court.
He also admitted supplying amphetamine and possessing amphetamine with intent to supply.
The possession charges relate to October 18 last year, when Roberts was found to be in possession of approximately 120 cannabis plants, 1,055grams of cannabis and some 127grams of amphetamine.
The case was adjourned for a pre- sentence report to be prepared and Roberts will return to court to be sentenced on May 25.
Judge Roger Jarvis told the defendant: “I know you appreciate that you have made admissions to very serious offences.
“I’m sure that you have been advised that as a consequence of these admissions you face the very real prospect of going to prison.”
