POLICE are appealing for a man to come forward after he reported seeing a group of youths vandalising a building in a Portland quarry.
The eyewitness spotted a group of youths attempting to rip open the roof of a temporary building at Perryfield Quarries, Pensylvania Road on Portland at around 8pm on Tuesday, April 26 and reported it to the landowner.
PC Chris Bevans from the Portland Safer Neighbourhood team said: “I am trying to get in touch with a man who called the quarry manager to report the vandalism but didn’t leave any more contact details.”
