A DORSET couple have welcomed their new son into their family.
Promotions manager Debbie Hellaby, 30, and herd manager Mark Goringe, 34, from Poxwell, near Dorchester, welcomed Thomas into their lives on April 26 weighing 7lb and 7oz.
Baby Thomas was born by a planned Caesarean section at Dorset County Hospital and both mum and baby are doing well.
Debbie said: “He is getting on okay. He has had a bit of a bad belly but he’s okay.”
The couple’s daughter Eloise, three, has been taking good care of her younger brother.
Debbie said: “She’s quite into him, which is lovely, she’s not too fussed about helping to change nappies, she’s more into just loving him.”
The family wanted to say a special thank-you to the team at the Special Care Baby Unit at the hospital for all their help and support.
