- RED NOSE bonanza by the Ladies Table Tennis Club – their collection raised £180! – I was the only ‘donor’ who took them up on their invitation to drinks & nibbles and paid for it by playing TT for the first time in 40+ years! Well done ladies.
- THE BRUNCH coffee morning was a great success: the hall was packed, the butties were delicious, the tables groaning with goodies and the hall funds topped up by over £300, thank you to everyone who came.
They need a bit of a boost as the ladies loos have had a complete make over (very nice they look too) and the next job is the gents & to provide a disabled toilet – so that is going to be much more expensive!
- COME to our Safari Lent Lunch in the Village Hall on Monday, March 28th, delicious home made soup and crusty bread followed by a discussion – do feel free to join us.
- WE SHALL have a display of lilies in the Church for Easter as usual and a donation (£1 or more) in memory of a loved one, will be gratefully received – contact Judy or me.
- LUNCH Club is on Tuesday, March 29th – and a timely ‘thank you’ to the central core of stalwarts who organise these hugely popular events.
