- PASSENGERS using the new Dorchester Road shelter hope the buses keep running on time.
The replacement of the dilapidated eye-sore outside the old Police Station has been long promised and is overdue.
A number of shelters in the borough will be replaced during this year.
- BOROUGH Mayor, Coun Paul Kimber presided at the Holocaust Memorial Service in Radipole Park.
Councillors, RCP Friends and members of the public participated in the ceremony, listening to readings and poems read by Andrew Guillam, Pat Barker, Barbara Cohen and Lord Maurice Mendoza from Bournemouth.
The service was conducted by the Mayor’s Chaplain, Revd Chris Briggs.
It was an excellent attendance on a bitterly cold January day that reflected the sombre mood of the occasion.
