Announcing "The Octavo".
For the fourth year running the village is going to be entertained by 4 pianists and 2 pianos.
The pianists are ( as before ) Jan Wyld, who will also read selected poems, Dr Richard Hall, Dr Will Hutchinson and Lorna Davison.
However this year there is an added attraction in the form of local boy Chris Evans on Clarinet and in a departure from previous years there will be a drummer as well!
This will be the veteran Dougie Cooper who in his long career has done session work for the likes of Geraldo and Ted Heath.
These concerts are always very popular but this one (still mostly classical music) is likely to be moreso - please book early.
The concert is in the Village Hall on Saturday 22nd January starting at 7.30 pm. tickets are £8 in advance by ringing 01305 250154 or £8.50 at the door if there are any left!
