I LOVE New Year’s Eve in Weymouth, where the whole town seems to get into the party spirit and dress up in weird and wacky outfits.
In my search for the perfect costume for a my New Year’s Eve party, I visited the Party Shop in Abbotsbury Road.
It is choc full of all kinds of outfits and different characters you can become, making it hard to choose just one.
I wore the Madhatters’ hat while I had a good browse. In the end I settled on Buzz Lightyear for the party. I liked being a swashbuckling Captain Hook so much that I decided to borrow that one too, to wear when I visit the Peter Pan pantomime at Weymouth Pavilion.
Postbag Happy new year and I hope you have a very happy birthday to: Keelie Ritchie, 11 on Jan 2, Alicia Wilcocks, seven on Jan 1, Jessica Stacey, nine on Jan 5, Stevie Love, eight on Jan 5.
Joke time I DISCOVERED this list of New Year’s Resolutions for dogs: The dustbin men are NOT stealing our stuff.
I do not need to suddenly stand up when I'm lying under the coffee table.
I will not eat the cats’ food.
I will not roll on seaweed, fish, crabs, etc at the beach.
I will not eat any more socks.
I will not chew my human's toothbrush and not tell them.
The sofa is not my face towel.
