A COUPLE who wanted to do something different on their wedding day celebrated an ‘amazing’ day at Marwell Zoo.

Daniel Hunt, 33, a resourcing manager for Amazon married Anna Plumb, 31, a trusts executive for WWF, at the zoo near Winchester on September 24.

Daniel is the elder son of Brian and Rachel Hunt of Weymouth and Anna is the younger daughter of David and Marguerite Plumb of Lower Upham, Hampshire.

The couple met three and a half years ago in a bar in Notting Hill, London, and Daniel proposed last November in Bruges, Belgium.

Anna used to work at Marwell Zoo and the couple decided they wanted to celebrate their wedding in a different way.

Guests took a train from the zoo entrance to Marwell hall where the wedding was held and they were able to see the animals on the way.

The best man was the groom’s brother, Joseph, and the bridesmaids were Helen Ellis, Verity Ford, Sally-Anne Taylor, Poppy and Emily Plumb, and Maia Ellis.

Daniel said: “It was an amazing day, absolutely brilliant. It’s like everyone says, it goes really quickly and it’s hard to take it all in.

“The best bit about being married is the lovely rings and the security and knowing that you will be with the one you love for the rest of your life.”
