CUB scouts, who represented Weymouth North Park, won the recent annual Weymouth and Portland District Quiz for Cub Scouts.

They will go on to represent Weymouth and Portland District at the County Cub Scouts Quiz to be held in Bournemouth next month.

All in their pack congratulate them and wish them all the best in the forthcoming competition.

IT’S auction time again at St Augustine's Church Hall, Dorchester Road.

The Stella Maris One World Group Auction takes place on Saturday, October 9.

Viewing is from 10.30am to noon, when selling begins.

Light lunches and drinks will be available.

JUST two weeks later, there is a warm invitation for all to a Beetle Drive, also in aid of the One World Group, again in St Augustine's Church Hall on Saturday, October 23 starting at 2pm.

Entrance is £2 including refreshments and there will be a raffle.

ON Saturday, October 30, 7pm for 7.30pm the St Augustine’s Church Hall Fashion show features good quality second hand clothes on sale after the show.

In aid of African Charities, tickets at £3 are limited.

A QUIZ is to take place in St Aldhelm’s Church Lounge at 7.30 pm on Friday, October 15.

Teams of four or individuals are invited to join in this Christian Aid fundraiser for some of the world’s poorest communities.
