SALES assistant Michael Gowans married full-time mother Victoria Jane Crocker at Weymouth register office.
The wedding was attended by the groom’s mother Ann Gowans, of Empool Close, Crossways, and the bride’s mother Carole Downton, of Thomas Hardye Gardens, Dorchester.
The bride wore an off-the-shoulder ivory chiffon dress with a crystal tiara and carried a posy of yellow roses and freesias.
The best man was the bride’s brother Vincent Downton and the bride’s son Aaron Crocker, five, was the ring-bearer.
The couple’s honeymoon destination was Alton Towers.
The reception was held at Weymouth Football Club for around 50 guests.
After the service, the bride said: “We had the last good weekend of weather for the wedding.
“Family and friends of ours travelled down from Reading and my brother came down from Salisbury to be the best man and to give me away.”
