IT’S five o’clock, it’s carnival day…it’s the Red Arrows.
While the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team may not be introduced like that tomorrow, spectators waiting on the beach and seafront may well be just as excited as a child before an episode of Crackerjack.
The ‘Reds’ are carnival favourites and the day just wouldn’t be the same without the mighty roar of the nine Hawk jets sweeping over the town.
The team’s display schedule was thrown into doubt earlier this month when the type of RAF Hawk jet used by the Red Arrows was grounded for safety reasons.
Thankfully, the jet was given the all clear after an inspection.
People are advised not to miss the spectacular Red Arrows show, live on stage in the skies above Weymouth Bay at 5pm.
