OH no he isn’t – X Factor heart-throb Lloyd Daniels has pulled out of Weymouth’s Peter Pan pantomime.

The lost boy will be replaced in the lead role in the festive production by former Coronation Street and Dancing On Ice star Danny Young.

Weymouth Pavilion staff and producers Spillers Pantomimes said that Lloyd cancelled because he was taking part in the X Factor tour.

John Spillers, producer of the pantomime, said: “We are very disappointed that Lloyd will not be taking part any more.

“But are absolutely delighted with the booking of Danny.

“He is a big star and very well known. “This year we are putting on the biggest and best production ever and having a first class cast is essential. “Danny is an experienced actor and we know he will bring his own charm to the role.”

Danny said: “ I’m delighted to be coming to Weymouth. I hear it’s a lovely place.

“I’m looking forward to it.”

Blond teenager Lloyd, 17, came fifth in the 2009 X Factor when he was mentored by Cheryl Cole.

He was due to visit Weymouth in early June but pulled out at the last minute.

Danny will star in Peter Pan alongside Matt Healy, who played Matthew King in Emmerdale, as Captain Hook.

The pantomime will run from December 17 to January 3.

Essex-born Danny, aged 23, appeared in such television dramas as Out of Control and The Vice before winning a place in Coronation Street.

He starred as Warren Baldwin before more television and film appearances.
