A WOMAN driver escaped uninjured after her car ended up on its roof in a West Dorset crash.
The westbound carriageway of the A35 road near Bridport was closed following the collision at just after 10.30am yesterday.
A Dorset Police spokesman said Dorset Fire and Rescue Service alerted them that a green Ford Focus estate car, registered to a Dorchester woman, had rolled on the busy road near Winterbourne Abbas and the driver was trapped.
The spokesman said: “It was a non-injury collision and the road was closed at Greens roundabout, at the bend before the turning to Maiden Newton.
“The vehicle was upside down and the westbound carriageway was blocked.
“Recovery was requested and the road was reopened at 11.20am.”
