The controversial plans were drawn up by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games, Portland Port, Weymouth and Portland Borough Council, the police and the coastguards.
It shows proposed channels for Portland Port’s normal commercial activities, Olympic courses and patrolled channels for visiting and recreational craft.
It also shows exclusion zones that will be monitored by marine police and the navy and the spectator viewing area in Weymouth Bay.
Borough councillor Tim Munro, who was at the meeting when the plans were distributed, said: “I’m sure LOCOG will get their own way anyway.
“People were saying at first that it will be business as usual during the Olympics – that was the original maxim.
“It looks like for Portland Port it will be business as usual but I don’t know how easily Weymouth harbour will be able to operate.
“It will be a big interruption to business as usual for Weymouth, but we are looking to really support the Olympics.”
