MARGARET attends Slimming world at Emanuel Church, Southill and has been a target member for over eighteen months.
She won an award for losing a total of 5st ½lb (32kg).
DENNIS Emson is Slimming World Man of the Year 2010.
He had been feeling unwell so he went to his doctor and was told to lose weight to improve his health. He was referred him to Slimming World.
Dennis joined the 5.30pm Emmanuel Church sessions and, with the friendly help from Anne and fellow group members he lost a total of 2st 4lb (13.3 Kg) in six weeks.
This has inspired Dennis to take on a challenge to cycle around all of Dorset to raise money for Age Concern. Good luck and keep going Dennis!

FRIENDS of Lodmoor Country Park report that plans for the Green Gym are progressing well and the next stage of the bid is nearing completion.
There will be five “stations”, incorporating exercise equipment for young and old and the whole scheme is to be landscaped.
RADIPOLE Park and Gardens Friends’ activities have produced new picnic tables and the provision of £500 worth of new shrubs.
Plans include the AGM on Wednesday, July 28 at the Centenary Club.
They hope to welcome new members and people who can help with preparing bid applications.
THE next Meeting Point Lunch is on Tuesday, July 6,12.30pm-2pm.
The speaker is Nicolette Heath, the Extended Services Pyramid Co-ordinator, who will describe her work and the scope of this organisation.
The event is for representatives of support agencies and voluntary organisations who care about the community, providing an opportunity to meet, discuss ideas and update on current events happening in the locality.
STELLA Maris One World Group coffee morning is on Saturday, July 3,10.30am-12 noon, at St Augustine's Hall, Dorchester Road.
Entrance at 50p includes coffee and a biscuit.
There is plenty to buy, home made cakes, bric a brac and books. This is an opportunity to have a coffee and a chat with friends.
All are welcome.
