A DORCHESTER motorcyclist who died last Friday on the A357 in North Dorset has been named.
Neil Dominic Carter, aged 26, from the Dorchester area, died at the scene of the accident between Sturminster Newton and Shillingstone.
Mr Carter, who worked as a packer in Dorchester, was riding his Suzuki bike northbound on the road when he was involved in a collision with a Rover car coming in the opposite direction, near the turning for Child Okeford.
