THE plant, book and home-made cakes sale at Mount Pleasant Residential Home raised £200 for the amenity fund that is used to pay for day trips, social events and extra comforts for the residents.

THE First Radipole Brownies Fundraising Quiz at The Spa Hotel was a family event with ten enthusiastic teams competing in a close fought brain-teasing event with patrons joining in.

£138 was raised for the Brownie leader to participate in the prestigious International European Guiding Event later this year.
