THE plant, book and home-made cakes sale at Mount Pleasant Residential Home raised £200 for the amenity fund that is used to pay for day trips, social events and extra comforts for the residents.

£138 was raised for the Brownie leader to participate in the prestigious International European Guiding Event later this year.
