A SINGLE mum who was found using heroin with a friend during a drugs raid on her home has been told she could go to prison.
And magistrates warned that her habit could harm her child's future.
Suzanne Henderson pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and to permitting the use of heroin at her Blandford home.
The town's magistrates heard that police had raided Henderson's home in Cherry's Court, Salisbury Street, where they found two wraps of heroin.
Prosecutor Tom Garnham said her friend Kim Hill was present and Henderson had admitted both using heroin herself and allowing Ms Hill to do the same.
Defending, William Hazelton said his client lived alone with her child.
"My client did not supply her Ms Hill with heroin," he said.
Henderson had sought help from drugs agency CADAS, had been seeing a counsellor regularly for three months and would do anything to get help to beat her addiction.
Presiding magistrate Len Saunders told Henderson that her case would be adjourned pending a pre-sentence report, warning that prison was an option.
He said the bench was concerned about "the harm on your own health and possibly the long-term future of your child".
Sentencing will take place on November 2.
