AS RAP looks to redefine itself and push the boundaries of what has already been achieved, two of its most
innovative creators have cooked up one of the most refreshing and startlingly original hip hop albums of recent times.
Fresh from his infamous Grey Album which melded The Beatles and Jay-Z - not to mention producing Gorillaz - Dangermouse has assembled a rich backing of bouncing beats for Doom's rhymes inspired by the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim slot.
The tracks include references to Adult Swim characters as well as cartoon samples and feature guests including Wu-Tang Clansman Ghostface and OutKast affiliate Cee-Lo.
Subtle, fresh and consist-ently fluid, the album is like a 40 minute rap radio play.
