CHILDREN and staff at Poulner Infants School were ahead for a day sporting crazy hairstyles to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
All 202 children and staff donned all manner of wacky wigs ranging from silver to glitter, and green to multi-coloured.
The school hopes to raise about £160 from the sponsored wig wear to go towards cancer care locally.
"We had Cruella de Villes, devil wigs and clowns," said a school spokeswoman.
"Although it was a fun day it was explained to the children that we were wearing wigs because cancer sufferers often lose their hair following chemotherapy."
