ROBERT Bruce ran in two tries for Bournemouth as they capped their Southern Counties South championship-winning season with a 64-6 home win over Trowbridge.
It took Bruce's touchdown tally for the campaign to 12 and finished as the Lions' leading try scorer.
There were also tries for Mark Burley (two), Dan Cawley, James Flynn, Sam Hardcastle, Jayson Kenny, Matt Kiely and John Sanchez.
Sanchez slotted over seven conversions as Bournemouth finished seven points clear at the top of the table following Wootton Bassett's unexpected 26-0 defeat at Tadley.
That allowed Frome to burgle second place and a promotion play-off berth after their 62-10 win at Minety.
Elsewhere our local clubs did not fare so well. Wimborne lost 14-12 at Amersham and Chiltern, Oakmeadians were crushed 56-5 at Chippenham and Swanage and Wareham were beaten 17-12 by Abbey, all in South West Division Two East.
