POLICE are appealing for help to find a vulnerable woman missing from her Three Legged Cross home for five days.

Zara Broughton, 20, who suffers from depression, left home on the morning of Friday, August 26 with a rucksack and sleeping bag.

Zara was last seen wearing dark grey trousers and a long beige sweater.

She did not take a coat, mobile phone, food or any personal identification with her, say police.

Police believe Zara, who has gone missing before, may have been heading for Bournemouth or woods in the Ashley Heath area.

A search by the Dorset Police helicopter of the forest areas between the Moors Valley, Ebblake, Somerley Park and Ashley Heath on Saturday evening failed to find her. Checks with local hospitals have also proved fruitless.

A police spokesman said: "We are appealing for anyone who knows of Zara's whereabouts or who sees her after recognising her description to contact Dorset Police in confidence as soon as possible."

People with information should ring Dorset Police on 01202 222 222.
