"THE UK's largest" specialist producer of point-of-purchase (PoP) shop displays has been sold for £77 million.
Bezier, which has a site in Poole, has been sold by private equity parent group Electra Partners to fellow VC MidOcean Partners.
MidOcean's Graham Thomas said: "Bezier is an enviable asset. We have identified PoP as a high growth market and so are delighted to now own the market leader. I am confident this will be a prosperous and exciting partnership for both Bezier and MidOcean Partners now and into the future."
Mark Shaw has been promoted to group chief executive at Bezier: "New investment is recognition of our incredible potential - recent achievements include a target-busting turnover of more than £60 million and expansion into two new sites.
"There will be some structural changes to senior management roles, however colleagues will be largely unaffected by this sale."
Bezier works with blue chip clients including Asda, Coca-Cola, Superdrug, Homebase, Honda and First Choice.
The Buckinghamshire headquartered group employs more than 600 people across eight sites in Poole, London, Bristol and Wakefield.
It was formed in May 1998 from a management buyout of a specialist division of Wace Group.
MidOcean Partners is a private equity firm focused on the middle market. It is based in New York and London.
Electra Partners is a London-based independent private equity fund management group which has £800 million under management.
