WIMBORNE shrugged off the sending off of Stuart Cooper to grab a narrow 2-1 win over Hamble at Cuthbury.
Cooper was shown a straight red card after what manager Paul Arnold described a "reckless challenge" with barely 10 minutes on the clock.
Regardless, the Magpies sparked into gear a man short as Steve Moores and Marcus Oldbury put them two up at the break.
A much-improved Hamble side pulled one back in the second half but Wimborne held out for the win.
Wimborne: Kearn, Rideout, Percival, Phillipson-Masters, Roast, Cooper, Moore (Butler 70), Oldbury, Arnold, Lovell, Cannie. Unused subs: Coleman, Doyle, Jones, Clements.
