AUSSIE rules players had nothing on Daisy Duke's shorts, and this show pushed all the right buttons for us
kids whose parents weren't sure what manner of morals were being passed on.
Car chase by banjo was never so recongisable as cousins Bo, Luke and Daisy Duke with their Uncle Jessie jumped ravine after ravine in their bright orange Charger with the recognisable horn in the pursuit of lawless justice.
To be fair it was rubbish television, but oh the memories: those car chases during which no one got even scratched, ridiculously clumsy sheriffs, tight denim shorts and the rotund, white-clothed, corrupt commisioner with the brilliant last name.
