NEVER mind he has a bucket load of particularly nasty sex charges hanging over his head, R Kelly has still pulled in hi-calibre collaborators like Snoop, The Game and Twista for this unapologetic essay to the delights of gettin' it on.
Put My T-Shirt On invites Kelly's squeeze to do it with him inside his big white t-shirt; and Remote Control, with its dandy Prince licks, compares sex to flicking the TV channels.
Most bizarre is the five-chapter sonic soap opera of Trapped In The Closet. It finds Kelly taking a tour of current urban genres from crunk to reggaeton as he, ahem, lays his lurve philosophy.
It may not be in the best possible taste, but this is R Kelly at his most libidinous and he does it real good - Nick Churchill
