STRIKER Andy Wright grabbed a second-half double as third-placed Ringwood eased past struggling Stockbridge at Long Lane.
Peter King gave Bob Lane's side a first-half lead when he sent a well-timed Tom Daley cross into the back of the net after 25 minutes.
Hot-shot Wright doubled the home side's lead with a 46th-minute strike before he converted Nick Russon's cross 14 minutes from time after the visitors had pulled one back.
Ringwood boss Lane said: "We wouldn't have expected to be in this position and we don't expect to be there for long. But as the season goes on you never know."
