A BEDSIT was wrecked in a blaze that broke out in a Boscombe building on Tuesday afternoon.
Fire crews from Springbourne, Westbourne and Christchurch were called to the property in Drummond Road at 4.35pm.
The blaze broke out towards the rear of the ground floor.
One woman who was in the building at the time managed to escape before the emergency services arrived.
She was treated by paramedics on site for slight smoke inhalation.
Firefighters on Tuesday night said they were investigating the cause of the blaze which destroyed the bedsit.
