A DIVER thought to be suffering from the bends was airlifted from the deck of the Lyme Regis based boat Blue Turtle on Sunday afternoon. The diver, who had apparently suffered decompression sickness after a 52 metres dive in Lyme Bay, was flown by the Coastguard rescue helicopter to the recompression chamber in Poole.
