BROCKENHURST booked a third round meeting away to Croydon in the FA Vase after they disposed of Sandhurst Town at the second attempt in a 2-1 replay victory.

The two sides were locked in a captivating 4-4 draw at Grigg Lane on Saturday with manager Chris Collinge far from happy with his side's performance.

Collinge was delighted, however, with his team's efforts second time around and praised ex-Cherries hero John Bailey, who was taken to hospital after a cut on the head late in the game, for a hero's display.

"He was unbelievable tonight in midfield," said Collinge. "They just couldn't get the ball off him. He was riding tackles, beating players and he set up our two goals. He was just different class."

Brock fell a goal behind after ten minutes, but two goals from Phil Stone who seems to have reproduced his scoring boots saw the Badgers through.

Brock: Staples, Steer, Parkin, Elley, D.Knighton, Dipper, Bailey (Burgess 70), Anderson, Gee, Stone, Sims. Unused subs: Adams, A.Knighton.
