WEYMOUTH Sports boss Adie Chance has seen his defence disintegrate ahead of tomorrow's visit to Allendale in the Dorset Combination League.
Skipper Andy Miles, Gary Klust, Jason Forbes and Tom Steadman have all dropped out for one reason or another, leaving Chance with a big task on his hands if his side are to record a third successive victory. "I am hoping to get former Dorchester player Alan Conroy in again and it looks as if I shall have to play out on the field myself," said the versatile Chance who had his team-mates raving about his performance in goal in their Dorset Senior Cup victory over St Mary's last Saturday.
On-loan Terras gloveman Gavin Bates, who dropped out last week because his club understandably did not want him cup-tied, relieves Chance of the goalkeeping duties tomorrow.
Sports squad: Bates, Windust, Walker, Armstrong, Rose, Stone, Mitchell, De La Planque, Horton, Hillier, Chance, Tizard, Reeson, Conroy.
