PUPILS at Radipole Primary School, Weymouth, showed off their best culinary skills in a healthy eating day in which they prepared meals for teachers.

The day was part of a course teaching the year three pupils healthy living.

They were asked to choose and prepare the meal, invite adults and wash up afterwards.

One of the pupils was Lee Hodge, eight, of Knightsdale Road, Weymouth, who won a competition at Kingston Maurward designing a monster using an apple. The competition was part of the healthy living course.

Lee was awarded first prize with his friendly monster, using a carrot, potatoes and a pineapple.

His prize entitles his class to a free day at Kingston Maurward
