A CAR flipped over and hit a lamppost in Littlemoor Road, Weymouth around 11.30pm last night.
Police and ambulance attended the scene and found a red Volkwagen Passat car on its side. The driver had swerved to avoid a cat in the road and hit a bank before colliding with the post. The driver was not injured.
A car tried to knock a motorcyclist off his bike in Weymouth. The car overtook a bus in Weymouth Way, then appeared to drive at the motorbike. Police think the car may be a blue or silver Ford Escort, with the registration G305UDD or similar.
PC Sarah Dursley of Dorset Police said: "This appeared to be a deliberate attempt to knock a motorcyclist off his bike and we are appealing for witnesses." The incident happened at around noon on Saturday.
