TWO goals in the last 10 minutes saw struggling Swanage record their first league win in 14 games over second-from-bottom Whitchurch at Day's Park.
Midfielder Jy Taylor headed Terry White's side in front, nodding home Lee James's 80th-minute corner to break the deadlock.
And the points were made safe less than 60 seconds later when James volleyed in the home side's second from the edge of the box.
Swans' vice-chairman Steve Jones felt his side were good value for their win. He said: "The first half was very scrappy, but we controlled the game after half-time and deserved to win on our second half showing.
"This is a very big win for us because these are the games we really need to win. Whitchurch are in a similar position to us so that made it a real six-pointer."
Swanage Town and Herston: S James, Grover, Selby, Taylor, Hollywood, McArthur (Gallego 85), L James, Lander, Drummond (Fadaro 87), Fowler, Lonsdale. Unused sub: T White.
