WEYMOUTH Arts Centre continues its drive to become a leading venue for community events with a performance of Personal Columns on December 1.
The show, starring David Conville, Damien Thomas and Jane McKell, is made up of two plays - Obituaries and GSOH!
The first, a dark comedy, takes a look inside an old folks' home where two residents chummily compose their own death notices, until a proposed royal visit sparks off a series of bitter betrayals.
GSOH! deals with the world of lonely hearts ads and finds two lovelorn searchers looking for romance and discovering that the sex chase is actually more satisfying than finding true love.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £6. All proceeds go towards the arts centre's redevelopment fund. To book tickets, call the arts centre on (01305) 786220 or drop into the Commercial Road venue.
