UPBEAT Verwood manager Terry Richens is confident his side can claim a top-six finish despite losing to Division One rivals Micheldever.
"Even their manager admitted we had 80 per cent of the game, but we are just not getting the run of the ball," said Richens.
"I'm sure we can turn the tide and if we continue to play the way we are this team is capable of a top-six finish," he added.
The home side struck twice in the first half while Verwood's best effort came from Guy Mansfield whose 30-yard shot hit the post after the interval.
Verwood: Francis, Arnold, Roberts, Mansfield, N Dashwood, Nippress, Coley (O'Connor 70), P Dashwood, Newman (Moore 80), Pitkin, Taylor.
